WLTC Winter Presentations 2014 (Thankyou’s, Bingo Quiz Night, Tacos, Summer Nominations)‏

Hello everyone,

As you’d all be well aware, those teams that made it to the finals have already   begun play with Semi-Finals this Saturday and the Grand-Finals the consecutive week.

Congratulations to the following teams:
Division 1 Purple Boys, Division 2 Purple Boys, Division 5 Boys, Division 1 Purple Girls, Division 4 Green Girls, and Hot Shot Girls.
Congratulations also to our Senior teams:
Division 3 Men, Division 7 Gold Men, Division 10 Red Men and Ladies Premier League Division.

It has been a bit of a messy season, with all the cancellations from rain, but I commend all teams; WLTC is very proud of the results this year, and most importantly the attitude of players and parents alike. Numerous other clubs have commented to me how polite WLTC members are, and this really is a common theme I have consistently seen.

Thankyou particularly to the parents who took on the role of team managers during the season, this is such a huuuuuge help in my weekly organising.

A reminder that on Saturday night 30th August (which is grand final day), we will be holding our Winter Presentations. This will start promptly at 5:30pm. Trophies for grand finalists and certificates will be presented by Samantha Nicholls and me (again, such a huge help to me this whole season, so make sure you say thanks next time you see her!) in the clubrooms.

This year, tacos and a Bingo Quiz night will be hosted immediately after. It will be a fun night; for those wanting to pre-order tacos (which incur a 20% discount) or book a table for the Bingo Quiz, please contact John Herbst on 0416 846 350 or Slawka on 0411 183 819.

We look forward to seeing you there!!
